Canopi Public Advisory Group

We are excited to announce the call for expressions of interest for a chairperson and up to a further six members to establish the HHP Wales Public Advisory Group (PAG).

Canopi provides access to free psychological and mental health support to health and social care workers in Wales.

We are excited to announce the call for expressions of interest for a chairperson and up to a further six members to establish the Canopi Wales Public Advisory Group (PAG).

The PAG will ensure vital service user involvement in the development of the organisation and they will have a role in:

  • providing feedback (positive and negative) and proactively identifying service enablers and barriers to the Canopi team
  • informing the strategic direction of the service
  • supporting the delivery of a co-produced service with a particular focus on accessibility and inclusivity

The PAG will include, but not be limited to former clients of the service, other health and social care staff with lived experience of mental health difficulties who have not used the service and may extend to include other interested members of the public where appropriate.

The PAG will meet quarterly to discuss the ongoing progress and development of the service and report into Canopi as appropriate.

How to apply

Please provide expressions of interest in the form of a single page letter which should provide information about why you would like to join the PAG and indicates whether you would like to be considered for the position of chairperson, member or both.

Submissions and requests for further information about the PAG can be obtained from Dr Jake Hard.

The cut-off for submissions is Friday the 19 March 2021.
